The Impact Sports Performance Center includes:
Strength and functional training area
Performance cardio equipment
Resistance lap pool for training and rehab
Sport-specific team training, including, but not limited to, baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, LAX, skiing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball
50' x 40' cage with turf that can be subdivided into four quadrants
The "Speed Zone" hockey skating treadmill (hockey specific only)
There are several reasons why dramatic improvements in both speed and power can be made in a short amount of time. The four keys to effectiveness of skating treadmill training are: Active Coaching, Real Time Visual Feedback, Progressive Curriculum and Skating Surface Friction. Benefits of a skating treadmill are improved skating mechanics and improved strength and conditioning.
